The MSS is made up of individuals some of whom have formed Households.
These are based upon historical retinues of the fifteenth century who actually took part in the Hundred Years War with France and the following Wars of the Roses.
In the later medieval times it was very common for units of troops to be raised by the powerful nobles throughout the land. These were known as households.
We use a household structure to simplify the general running of the events that we do.
It’s a great way of making friends in the group if you have newly joined us.
However, members are not pressured to join a household – it’s entirely your choice. You can even start your own!
